Peggy Morgans is the only award-winning
workroom professional in upstate New York

Peggy owns Parkway Window Works, a
Rochester, NY-based company providing
designers a one-stop-shop for window
coverings ranging from draperies and valances
to shades and shutters, along with
measurement, installation and drapery
hardware. Parkway is the region’s only to-the-
trade workroom that uses design software that
enables designers to show their clients how
their colors and fabrics will look.
“I save my designer clients time, money and headaches by
implementing and installing their ideas for window coverings from concept to
completion,” says Peggy, who has won awards for ingenuity and workmanship
from Window Fashion Vision magazine and Draperies & Window Coverings
magazine. “And I help designers increase sales by educating them on new
product offerings.”
Peggy does extensive research on industry trends and product safety, and she
shares that information with designers in classes she teaches locally and at
national trade conferences. She also writes the area’s only newsletter on how
designers can increase sales by partnering with workrooms.
She is an active member of the Window Coverings Assn. of America, Drapery
Pro and the Greater Rochester Professional Workroom Assn. In addition, she
is an industry trade partner to the Association of Interior Design Professionals.
Peggy, a sewing specialist, heads a team that includes other sewing experts and
leading installers.
She holds a chemical engineering degree from Purdue University, as well as an
MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Her engineering background enables
her to devise unique solutions to challenging spaces, such as arched or bowed
windows. And she helps her clients increase their productivity and
profitability by sharing her business insights and ideas.
